1. Email us details of paths which you think will be affected by the proposed route. Please look at the map we have put together of paths which we believe cross the proposed route. If you think paths are missing or need altering in some way please contact walking.environment@ramblers.org.uk.
2. Upload your photos. Please show us the paths you love to use, which we be affected by the route by uploading your pictures to our Flickr page here:
http://www.flickr.com/groups/hs2_paths/. If you have any problems accessing this page please email Walking Environment at walking.environment@ramblers.org.
3. Respond to the consultation by mentioning the concerns of walkers. Please download this document which mirrors the response we will be making to the Department for Transport. You can use our answers to help frame your own if you wish. We are encouraging everyone to respond to this consultation so please respond both as Ramblers Areas and Groups, but also as concerned individuals too. If you require more information on this please contact Eugene Suggett at eugene.suggett@ramblers.org.uk. The website address for the consultation is here: http://highspeedrail.dft.gov.uk/.
