A dead end for walking?
We are hearing reports across the country of budget cuts targeting rights of way funding.
Earlier this year, Warwickshire County Council publicly stated that they were looking to reduce spending on rights of way and countryside access.
We wanted to let the Council know that Ramblers were opposed to these plans by submitting a petition. The Ramblers petition gathered more than 1,000 signatures and asked the Council to rethink the extent of proposed cuts to the Countryside Access Team. On the 25th March we presented the petition to the Council.
