Walk in the Woods Campaign

The Ramblers is committed to campaigning for access to all woods where people walk, not just those owned by the Forestry Commission. The woodland walk is a pastime that all enjoy, and it is crucial that access is guaranteed so that future generations don’t encounter a land of forbidden forests.

Campaign Update - The Independent Forestry Panel produced their progress report in December. The Ramblers welcomed the commitment to a Public Forest Estate but are concerned about the lack of progress towards being able to walk in all woodland. Find out more here
