It's nearly 10 years since the Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000 gave the public the right to walk on 'access land' - mapped areas of mountain, moor, heath, down and common land. Maps showing access land are soon to be reviewed and we would like to find out what you think.

Broken stiles? Barbed wire fences? Vicious dogs? Whatever the obstruction you encountered, use our online reporting tool to tell us about them!
Help to protect the paths you love to walk by becoming a Footpath Guardian. This bite-sized project won't eat into your spare time, but will help to ensure that the rights of way network is open and useable for generations to come
