Public transport:
- Rail. The Cumbrian coast line runs through the
AONB between Carnforth and Arnside via Silverdale with regular services and
connections to Lancaster, Preston, Manchester and Barrow. Four Rucksack and
Rail walks connecting with train services are available (see below). For
