Former hunting forest in Worcestershire

Locateed just west of Bewdley, this is one of the largest surviving areas of semi-natural woodland in Britain, once a hunting forest and now managed by the Forestry Commission. The Forest has an excellent network of paths and multi-user trails, and hosts a busy programme of led health walks under the Walking the way to Health Initiaitve.
Accessibility
There are many easy walks with an all-ability trail, and health walks for all abilities. Contact the visitor centre for details.
Public transport
The nearest station is Kidderminster, with regular trains to Worcester and Birmingham, and Severn Valley Railway trains to Bridgnorth through the Forest area. Regular buses from Kidderminster serve the Forest.
