This scenic path through central Wales visits many sites associated with the 15th century hero Owain Glyndŵr. The route is shaped roughly like a triangle, running from Welshpool southwest to Machynlleth before turning southeast to Knighton, with the third side of the triangle formed by Offa’s Dyke Path.
The route was originally established by Powys council but has since been upgraded and partially re-routed and reopened as a National Trail in April 2002.
