Recreational Route: Southwest England

Mendip Way

Uphill near Weston-super-Mare to Frome 80 km/50 miles

Originally two paths, the East and West Mendip Ways either side of Wells, this is a pleasant route across the whole length of the Mendip Hills, including the broad vale of the Western Mendips, the high plateau of the central part and the wooded valleys of the eastern end. Includes some steep climbs.

Connects with Limestone Link Path, Macmillan Way, Monarch's Way, Samaritans Way South West
