New festival materials and how to order them

As a result of the feedback we have received from volunteers, we will be changing the way we distribute promotional materials for Ramblers walking festivals. In the past, we sent a resource pack to all Groups. From now on, volunteers organising festival walks and events will have to contact us at central office to request posters and joining forms.

This new way of distributing materials and using one generic poster and the joining leaflet should save the charity resources and ensure that materials can be used by our volunteers for more than just one event.

New festival materials are now available and include:
• Poster template (including bi-lingual poster template for Groups in Wales) - to print the details of your walk and display it locally
• Joining form with a special membership offer - 50% off for new members joining by direct debit - please hand out the leaflets to new walkers and encourage them to join the Ramblers
• Feedback form – for completion and returning to central office after your walk

The materials can be used during the next three festivals:
• Coast for Most Weekend/The Big Welsh Walk: 5 – 6 May 2012
• Get Walking for the Games Weekend: 26 – 27 May 2012
• Summer Evening Walks: 1 – 31 July 2012
