The Ramblers has teamed up with Bovril, the well-known drinks brand, in a new national campaign for a 'Great Outdoors Revival'. The focus of the campaign is a website - http://www.bovril.co.uk/revival/ - where the public can nominate and vote for any outdoor facility or feature that could do with improvement.
For walkers, these might include a series of rickety stiles on a path, missing bridges, dangerous steps, the provision of access points to access land, etc. These could be in rural, urban, or suburban areas.
Nominations will then be considered by a panel of judges, and five winners will be chosen. Bovril will then fund the necessary work, up to a maximum of £20,000 per project.
