The launch in the South West proved a great success and the baton will be soon passed on to West Midlands.

Festival of Winter Walks
A massive thank you to everyone who helped with organising and leading our Festival walks. Over 15,500 participants took part in 880 Festival walks.
Media coverage, which reached over 12m people, included The Times, Daily Telegraph and BBC Countryfile magazine as well as interviews on 38 local radio stations.
We will soon start working on Festival of Winter Walks 2010 which will start on Christmas Day.
Fill Your Flask
Ramblers kicked off our birthday celebrations early in December by holding our own Fill Your Flask event at Central Office in London. We sold tea, coffee and cakes in return for donations and then headed out for a short walk around wintery Pimlico – cold, but fun! To see the photos visit our Ramblers 75 Flickr site.

To publicise the Ramblers 75th anniversary, templates for posters and headed paper have been produced for Areas and Groups. More information on what’s available can be found here.
The 75th anniversary logo can be downloaded here and we would suggest Areas and Groups use it across their materials in 2010 in order to generate publicity for the Ramblers throughout their 75th year.

Our 75th anniversary website www.ramblers75.org.uk is now up and running and features latest news, 75th celebrations and events, successes and gallery of images.
Please visit the website and promote it locally to give it as much exposure as possible.
