Following on from the Volunteer Survey, undertaken late last year and early this year, the Ramblers has now produced a report outlining what was contained in the survey results as well as the actions to be taken forward improve the support and development of volunteers. You can now download all the information as well as getting involved in the implementation of the recomendations (News posted - 6 July 2010).

Get Walking For the Games, Ready to go!
Launch of the Ramblers Get Walking for the Games project is taking place on the (News - 24 July).

The Monthly Membership Updates (MMU) for July and electronic membership lists were sent to Area Membership Secretaries on Friday 6th August. (News - posted 12th August 2010)

Excellent local publicity over our 75th year has been generated. The press office is very keen to continue this good work and so would like to run a number of workshops focussing on developing media skills, discussing what we have already done and sharing ideas (Event posted 23 July 2010).

The biggest crisis to face rights of way and access in living memory is looming large. Councils across England and Wales are in the process of slashing budgets and making staff redundant – in some cases rights of way teams will disappear completely (News - posted 3 September 2010.)
