New to the role of Area or Group Treasurer? Then you may be interested in attending one of our upcoming training sessions.
These will cover all of the essentials, from maintaining financial records to completing the annual accounts, and from budgeting for the year ahead to monitoring and controlling expenditure. There will also be the opportunity to meet other Treasurers and ask questions.
The sessions have provisionally been set for the below dates and locations:
Thursday 29th March 2012: Ramblers central office, Vauxhall, London
Wednesday 25th April 2012: Manchester YHA
Friday 11th May 2012: Glasgow YHA
Note that due to cost considerations, sessions may be cancelled if there is insufficient demand.
The sessions will last for 5-6 hours, including a buffet lunch.

Priority will be given to new Treasurers (i.e. those who have started in their role in the past 12 months), however there may be places available for Treasurers of longer standing - subject to demand.
We would appreciate your responses at least a month before the date of the relevant session.
Further information will be sent out to attendees nearer the time.
If you would like to receive training but cannot attend on any of the above dates, please let us know. If there is sufficient demand we may be able to arrange additional weekend sessions at Ramblers central office in the second half of May 2012.
