We provide a number of resources for those undertaking the role of Area or Group Footpath Secretary as well as those who undertake Practical Path Work. Central Office can also provide a large amount of support for all these areas of work. To take advantage of this please gets in touch with the Walking Environment Team.

Ramblers rights of way volunteers' handbook - A resource aimed at all new rights of way volunteers. The resource outlines the basics of rights of way law, Rights of Way management as well as key policies that may come in helpful when undertaking your role.

They give support in a number of different areas including guidance on how the law affects path work, responding to consultation and encouraging volunteering.
