The Ramblers is Britain's walking charity, working to safeguard and improve the places where people walk in the countryside and in towns and cities, and to encourage more people to take up walking either for leisure or purpose. We aim to protect and enhance Britain's unique network of paths; promote responsible access in the countryside; protect the environment; and promote walking as a socially inclusive, healthy and sustainable activity.
