Where our money comes from
Members subscriptions are our biggest source of income and includes the repayments of tax which we can recover on those subscriptions paid under gift aid.
Our members give generous support by donations, responding to fund-raising appeals and buying raffle tickets
Income from legacies is also very important.

Money is also raised from other sources such as project funding from various trusts, foundations and government agencies, and through commercial sponsorship of events and publications.
