Director of Marketing & Communications
Circa £55k


We are looking for an exceptional person to take on a senior role at The Ramblers - Director of Marketing & Communications. You will be joining The Ramblers at an exciting time: the re-launch of our brand, and ambitious plans to capitalise on growth of interest in walking. You will take a key role in the senior management team which is driving the changes. You will inspire and lead a large team across a broad spectrum of marketing activities including publications, internet, fundraising, media and membership.

Project Co-ordinator
Based in central Birmingham
£26,000 - £28,000pa (contracts to December 2011)

The Get Walking Keep Walking project works to inspire more people from all sectors of society to walk. We build partnerships with community health, local authority, BME, youth and other organisations to attract inactive people from high deprivation and BME communities to walk more using a unique programme.

You will set up and manage a Get Walking Keep Walking programme in the area applied for, including delivery of activities. Skills and experience in project management and community-based work essential.
