Dibden Bay Inquiry update

Excellent news was announced on the 20th April 2004 when the Transport Minister, Tony McNulty, decided to accept the Inspector's recommendations and refused permission for the port to go ahead. If allowed, the port would have serious, detrimental impacts on a site recognised for its ecological and wildlife importance. It would also have fallen within the proposed boundary of the New Forest National Park.

We would like to thank all those involved for their hard work and dedication in this campaign. We're very pleased it was a success!
