Stansted airport expansion

The Ramblers actively supports the Stop Stansted Expansion campaign group in its efforts to contain the development of Stansted Airport within tight limits that are truly sustainable and, in this way, to protect the quality of life of residents, our heritage and the natural environment.

A public inquiry will be held in April 2009 and the Ramblers will be providing oral evidence during this process to highlight the various negative impacts that this development will have on walkers interests in the area.
