Circular over fairly level terrain via Thames Path to Runnymede (coffee stop at Magna Carta Tea Room) then to Windsor Great Park and the ‘Wheatsheaf Hotel’ for lunch stop (only 45 minutes so bring food). The walk then takes in Virginia Water, the Valley Gardens which should be a riot of colour, Smiths Lawn where there might be chukkas of polo in progress, Saville Gardens Restaurant (tea stop), the Copper Horse statue of King George III atop Snow Hill and the Long Walk.
