The Ramblers Association receives no money from the government and relies entirely upon its dedicated members and supporters – that’s you.
It’s thanks to people like you that we have achieved major successes recently, such as the ‘right-to-roam’ over open countryside, established for the first time after over 70 years of lobbying.
We have also made significant progress with our campaign to protect our ancient rights of way: DEFRA has agreed to enact legislation which will prevent off-road vehicles claiming legal access to fragile footpaths.
Your donation will also help us provide better levels of support, advice and training for our fantastic network of volunteers - the unsung heroes of the walking movement.
Of course, our work is never done. Every day, we are told of more threats to the countryside and our footpath network. There are still too many people who have not discovered the joys of walking and the beauty of our wild green spaces.
We are determined to confront these issues, but we simply could not do so without your invaluable support.
If you feel as strongly about these issues as we do, please give us your help now. You can make a donation using the form below.
Your gift will be put to work straight away to help keep our beautiful countryside protected for the walkers of today, and tomorrow.
