- protecting the countryside and urban walking environments
- safeguarding the natural beauty of the countryside
- expanding rights of responsible access for everyone
- educating the public about the health and environmental benefits of walking
But remember, we are only as brilliant as the people that support us...
...we receive no money from central government and so we are entirely dependent upon the generosity and support of our members and corporate supporters.
From time to time we might write to you to ask you to aid our work by making a donation. But there are many other ways you can help the Ramblers without putting your hand in your pocket...
Leave a gift in your will - Once you have provided for your family and loved ones, please consider remembering our charity in your will. Not only will this enable us to continue protecting the countryside which gives you so much pleasure for the walkers of tomorrow, but it is also a tax-efficient way of distributing your estate. Gift Aid - if you 'Gift Aid It', we can claim a further 28p for every pound donated to the Ramblers, even on membership subscriptions. This accounted for approximately £250,000 of income last year, but if even more people signed up, we could top £500,000 per year. So please send your form back today!
Ramblers Holidays - was set up in 1946 to support the work of the Ramblers , and today still makes a very significant donation to the Ramblers every year. With holiday destinations both abroad and in the UK, it's well worth having a look at the brochure - order one today on 01707 33113.
