Middleton-in-Teesdale Walk - 23 June
The above walk will start from the advertised start point , however the carpark at the Horse Market has been designated “short stay” . There is plenty of free parking in the long stay carpark in Bridge Street and its well signed . Caution on entry as the gate is not too wide .

Howgills Weekend - 30 June/01 July
30 June - classic high level Howgill Fells Walk (Winder, Arant Haw, Calders and Calf) approx 10 miles. Meet outside the Tourist Information Centre, Sedburgh. There will be plenty of stops for photographs, snacks and lunch.
01 July - low level walk, taking in the lower slopes of the Howgills and returning along the river Rawthey, approx. 6 miles.
Both walks will be led by Catherine and Jinny
Keswick Coach Trip - 28 July
There will be a choice of 2 walks or a day in Keswick.
Walk 1 - Great Gable, led by Ken Murray. The Route Card can be found here
Walk 2 -low level walk will be from Rosthwaite along the Allerdale Way to Keswick via Portinscale appox 8 miles, led by Hilary Clark

If there is doubt about the weather, please contact the walks leader before setting off. Unfortunately, there are no dogs permitted on the group's walks (except assistance dogs) and if you take a mobile phone, please use it with consideration for others.
Some members meet informally at a local teashop at the end of walks, please feel free to join us.
