The Woodland Walk offers a gentle stroll around the welcoming community woodland of Coed y Bobl.

On the southern edge of Devil's Bridge, Coed y Bobl was formerly home to a large number of spruce trees. After the trees had been felled, this natural wetland was bought by the local community and developed as part of the 'Woods on Your Doorstep' initiative in 2000. The site provides a naturally developing habitat for local wildlife and is now home to a wide range of trees, including birch, rowan, oak and willow.

Our Woodland Walk will lead you through the dappled shade of Coed y Bobl, where you’ll find birds and frogs nestled among the trees and shrubs, along with a range of activities to help you discover more about the wood and the local habitat.

Can I turn up on the day?

Yes you can. You can also sign up on the Woodland Walk page too.

Is this a family friendly walk?

Yes, it is. We hope you and your family enjoy our walk to the local community woodland. We have organised a programme of activities in the woodland for you and your family to enjoy.

Can I bring a dog?

Yes you can, but please keep your dog under control at all times. Please be mindful that the route includes numerous stiles, which your dog may need help getting over.
