White Cliffs Walking Festival 2018

The festival, organised by the local White Cliffs Ramblers group, is now in its fifth anniversary year and is the walking event of the year for the South East of England.  Last year we attracted over 1250 happy walkers visiting this historical area from the UK and abroad.

Centred on the historic towns of Dover, Deal and Sandwich, this week-long festival features over 40 walks ranging in length from 1 to 52 miles. Whatever your walking ability or interest, we offer walks that will tempt you to discover our beautiful coast and nearby countryside.  Bring the children and join our smugglers walk or immerse yourself walking among the fascinating military fortifications or take in the delightful coastal views.   Most walks are free, though a voluntary contribution would be appreciated. A few of our special guided walks cost a modest amount.

Children, young people under the age of 18 and vulnerable adults should be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Please note that the duration of each walk includes a lunch break where this is appropriate.
