A linear walk of about 26 miles to Charing Cross at a brisk pace, following the annual London Marathon course but away from traffic, mainly along the Thames Path with views of many London landmarks.
Two half-hour breaks after 9 and 19 miles, both with public toilets; one further toilet break. Both stops have food concessions but bring plenty of water and food.
