This walk explores the northern end of the Ashdown Forest with some of the places featured in the Winnie the Pooh stories, including the famous Pooh Sticks Bridge. Please note this walk ends at the Coopers' Arms in Crowborough for its annual Dark and Delicious Beer festival. You will have to self-navigate the two miles of tarmac back to Crowborough station.
Travel: Take 9:08 from London Bridge (9:23 East Croydon), arr. Ashurst 9:58. Buy return to Crowborough.

Travel: Take the 10:03 from London Waterloo (Clapham Junction 10:12), arr. Guildford 1102. Buy a return to Dorking, a single Dorking to Leatherhead may be required on return.

A lovely walk up the River Itchen towards the old hospital of St Cross, where we'll eat lunch and have a chance to explore this ancient site. If you're lucky, you'll be able to claim Wayfarers' Dole. In the afternoon, we'll climb St Catherine's Hill, with views of Winchester, and then descend into the City, with a small sightseeing tour, before finishing in a pub for drinks and food.
Travel: Take the 10:39 from London Waterloo (10:46 Clapham Junction), arriving Shawford 11:54. Buy a return to Shawford.
Terrain: Mainly riverbank, plus a hill

A stroll along the River Wandle. We start at the mouth of the Wandle where it flows into the River Thames and head north and end at the Wandle's first source in Carshalton Ponds. We walk alongside the river most the way and pass through several parks and the Mordon Hall National Trust site. Please bring packed lunch. Possible pub stop en route for drinks only. We are ending in the Hope pub in Carshalton which won the CAMRA 2017 Pub of the Year, London Region.
Travel: Take 10:50 from London Waterloo (10:54 Vauxhall,11:00 Clapham Junction) arr. Wandsworth Town 11:03, or check TfL Journey Planner for alternatives. Oyster/Contactless can be used in both directions.
