A lovely Friday walk from Low Bradfield of approx. 4 or 5 miles follwed by lunch at The Plough. Two meals for £6. Members/potential walkers are reminded that, prior to these walks, which take place on the last Friday of the Month, they MUST contact the walks leaders – Stephanie (07880611925) or Tony (07486365050) Swaby in good time in order to ensure a meal booking. There is a fixed quota of 15 meal places, which cannot be extended, and bookings will be taken on a first come, first served basis.
Whilst there is no ceiling on the number of walkers who wish to participate on the walk, anyone who hasn’t pre-booked will not be guaranteed a meal on the day.

We walk east along Alkborough Flats stopping in Winteringham for lunch. We then follow the River Humber west where there are great views of the Humber Bridge and the distant Yorkshire Wolds. As we return we see where the Rivers Trent and Ouse join (the confluence) to form the Humber Estuary.

Walk from Cusworth village via Cusworth Hall, across fields to Sprotbrough and down to Sprotbrough Lock then along the river bank. Leave footpath at Newton Village and joining the TPT for a short distance before heading back. Easy with several dog-friendly stiles.
