The walk climbs from Hopesay to Burrow Hill Fort which is unusual because it boasts a couple of water springs. The route then descends to Aston-on-Clun and its famous Black poplar tree. On to Hopesay Common and down to the village.

Craven Arms from the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre across fields then climbing up through Halford Wood.Â Short road walk to Lower Dinchope and across fieldsÂ to climb up Callow Hill to reach Flounders Folly.Â The Folly will be open for people to go up the tower. Returning via Strefford and along the Quinny Brook for tea and cakes (optional) at the Discovery Centre.
