Linear to Bramley Station along footpaths and country lanes on the Berkshire/Hampshire border. Part of the route follows the outer wall of the abandoned Roman town of Calleva. If time permits we will take a short break at the Roman Amphitheatre and then continue to 'The Calleva Arms' in Silchester for lunch (or bring own food). Map: E159/144, L175.

Train from Paddington at 08:51. Change at Reading at 09:27/09:37. Check trains the day before. Buy return ticket to Bramley.
