Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be locked in a park in the dark? This is a chance to do it in a more civilised way. Kensington Gardens officially closes at sunset. However, we can now reveal that this is the only Royal Park with turnstile gates where you can check out any time you like – and you can really leave. The only catch is they are one-way turnstiles so you can’t go back in. We will enter the park in a nonchalant fashion. We will ignore the curfew bell while we explore the park in the dark. The walk will probably last a couple of hours. Please note there are no loos on this walk. There are places near the station before we meet.
Terrain: Semi-surfaced paths so you do not need boots but trainers or sensible shoes make sense
Dropout points: None. Once you're in, you're in.
