A pleasant walk, mostly level, through farmland and woods and along the canal. Note there are many stiles and a couple of narrow plank bridges which may be tricky if wet. Some sections could be muddy. No lunch arranged, although the start/finish point is next to the Barley Mow pub. Dogs permitted.

Starting point
Canal Car Park near the Barley Mow pub Winchfield. From Fleet take Hitches Lane South to Crookham Village. At t-junction turn right. At the fork turn right past Queens Head. The car park is about a mile along the road on the left up Sprat’s Hatch Lane (opposite the Barley Mow pub).
