Travel: Take the 09:53 from Victoria, arrivies Riddlesdown at 10:17. Buy a return to Oxted.
We will head across Riddlesdown, a popular area with dog walkers on Sunday morning, with pleasant views across the Caterham valley before continuing on less trodden tracks and bridleways to a lunch stop at The Bull pub at Chelsham. A packed lunch is recommended. After lunch we will pick up the Vanguard Way across isolated countryside and woodland to Oxted. There are two trains an hour back to London and a Wetherspoons pub right next to the station. The toilets at Riddlesdown station will be closed on Sunday, so please use on train facilities before commencing the walk.
Terrain: Fields and woods. Some hills, one quite steep after lunch and some steep descents.
