Feel privileged as being some of the first walkers using the brand new station in Cambridge. From here we follow the River Cam to Horningsea before heading east towards Anglesey Abbey for a chance to explore the grounds. After lunch we head south through the surrounding countryside before circling back through the outskirts of Cambridge and finish in Chesterton. Bring a packed lunch but refreshments possible at lunch and at the end. This is a joint walk with the Walk Cambridge group.
Travel: Take 9:57 from London Liverpool Street (10:10 Tottenham Hale), arr. Cambridge North 11:32. Alternatively take the 10:15 from London Kings Cross, change at Cambridge (arr. 11:01, dep. 11:27), arr. Cambridge North 11:32.
