A circular walk through the south eastern area of the Ashdown Forest with attractive heathland and woodland. There are some excellent views over the Sussex countryside on a clear day. Lunch at the pub in Fairwarp (contact leaders in advance to reserve a place) or picnic on the village green. Much of the ascent takes place in the second half of the walk. Please bring cars to Preston Park.
South end of Preston Park, Brighton, near to the Rose Garden. The journey from there should take approximately 40 minutes by car. Leaders will be going directly to the starting point.
