This walk is part of the Somer Valley Walking Festival. It takes in the site of a Roman Villa, the partly restored Somerset Coal Canal, with a wayside talk on the canal by a member of the restoration team. It also includes the areas connections to the slave trade and a walk through one of the hidden gardens of Somerset, also called the 'Gem of Somerset'.
Radstock, - Registration at Radstock Working Men's Club from 9:30 a.m. Parking at the car park accessed from Church Street. This car park is free on Sundays with no parking restrictions, but you will need to display a ticket from the machine. The Working Men's Club is in the bottom left corner of the car park (looking from the car park).
