Strenuous 12 miles / 19.3 km
A 12 mile walk with some challenging climbs and uneven terrain taking in Clandown, Paulton, Timsbury, Midsomer Norton and Radstoc. Visit the remains of coal mines, the site of a Roman villa, a medieval field system and a walk beside the Somerset Coal Canal. Fields can be very muddy in wet weather. Fanatasic views from the hills if the weather is fair.
Radstock, - Registration at Radstock Working Men's Club from 9:30a.m. Parking at the car park accessed from Church Street. Car park is free on Sundays with no parking restrictions, but you will need to display a ticket from the machine. The Working Men's Club is in the bottom left corner of the car park, (looking from the car park). Map 142.
