From car park cross the Sandford lock, through Kings Arms car park, then through marked paths through houses to pick up tracks to Lower Farm. Right of Way is through a private garden to a style hidden behind trees. Through field paths to cross the dangerous A4074. 200m on RH verge to R uphill path to Nineva Farm. Well marked rights of way skirt around the Farm. When clear path junction is reached after about 1km turn L, and then R after 250m to Toot Baldon. Turn L along road for 350m and then L again past Manor House. At path junction after 1km turn L to gain the old Roman road near Sandford Brake substation, and heading North. Turn L at open metal gate to turn L on a pathway paralleling the road that skirts housing estates. Eventually picks up Shakespeare’s way on the L, around the fixed caravan park and under the A4074. At road junction turn R and then after 200m L down Church Lane to get back to the Kings Arms, over the lock and back to the cars.
