This is a circular walk
The eleventh Stomp starts from the Clifton end of the Suspension Bridge. Please arrive ready to walk by 7.55 so that we can be well under way as the sun rises. This year’s complex route takes in Leigh Woods, Abbots Leigh and Failand before heading for lunch and the pub stop near Wraxall. We return via the fringes of Tyntesfield before our route leads us eventually to Ashton Court. We shall make the return journey across the Suspension Bridge as the sun sets.
Although it is a long walk, it is an easy one and all A walkers and the stronger B walkers will have no problems with it. As usual the emphasis is on celebrating the imminent lengthening of the days and on socialising with your many fellow Stompers.
Give us a try!
This is one of hundreds of Ramblers group walks for all ages and abilities every week - all led by our experienced walk leaders.
You’re welcome to join us on any of our walks to see if the Ramblers is for you. Then, once you’ve enjoyed the views, fun, exhilaration and good company, it’s just a case of becoming a member.
Do make sure you're fit enough and have the right footwear and clothing for the walk you want to do, though. You can contact the group or leader if in doubt.
