This is a circular walk
This intricate circular route was created by the LDWA as a relatively short (in their terms) walk around Dursley, visiting Upper Cam, Coaley and Uley. Given the time of year, our walk will be slightly shorter than the official version so overall this walk is at the easier end of the A walk spectrum with about 2300ft of ascent. There are some lovely woodland paths, the section through Ashen Plains being particularly fine, and there may be views across the Severn Vale as far as Sugar Loaf and Pen y Fan, both easily seen in good weather on the pre-walk!
Give us a try!
This is one of hundreds of Ramblers group walks for all ages and abilities every week - all led by our experienced walk leaders.
You’re welcome to join us on any of our walks to see if the Ramblers is for you. Then, once you’ve enjoyed the views, fun, exhilaration and good company, it’s just a case of becoming a member.
Do make sure you're fit enough and have the right footwear and clothing for the walk you want to do, though. You can contact the group or leader if in doubt.
