We will be walking through Ashclyst Forest where there is still some autumn colour. The walk is mainly level and although some of the paths are surfaced, some are a bit rough and muddy.

Deadlands car park. The turning into Ashclyst Forest is signed right, off the B3181 at Budlake, just after the Killerton House turnoff to the left. The car park is about 1.5 miles along a narrow road, on the right, but the sign is missing!!

This is a circular walk
Tea Shop: The New Inn, Wimple Road, Broadclyst, tel 01392 461312 (grid ref SS990 970, post code EX5 3BX). This pub is to the east of Broadclyst, outside the village and can be reached either by a short route through the forest or, for the more faint hearted, by returning to the B3181 then driving south through Broadclyst and turning left after the traffic lights, then a further left signed to Wimple.
We also welcome non-walkers to join us for tea at the New Inn around 3.45 pm.
