After meeting at our usual meeting point in the car park at Fields Park Road in Cardiff at 9.30am we car-share and drive to the walk start point at the Vale of Glamorgan Council Harbour Road car park at Barry Island (next to the Barry Athletic Football and Cricket Club grounds).
The walk will start at 10.30am and follows part of the Wales Coastal Path in a figure-of-eight route which takes in Barry Harbour, The Knap, Romilly Park, Jackson’s Bay, Nell’s Point, Whitmore Bay and Friar’s Point before returning to our start point. The walk will take on good quality footpaths or grass and will be undertaken at a leisurely pace.
