Moderate 9 miles / 14.5 km
Walk along Birchen Edge to Nelsons Monument, along White Edge to the Grouse Inn returning along Froggatt & Curbar Edge.
On a clear day there are fine views of Chatsworth & the Eastern Moors. There are no toilets on route, but we can stop at the Grouse Inn halfway around if needed. Ground is uneven & can be slippy when icy.

Curbar Gap car park (there is a charge for the car park unless you have a National Trust card or park in the layby below Curbar Gap (spaces permitting).
If meeting the Group at the start point, please be there by 9.45am to ensure a prompt start.
There is also the option of a short walk starting from Curber Gap with the long walk to Wellington Monument & returning to Curber Gap.
