Updated 2/4/2018 Route direction and engineering works.
I intend to do the walk clockwise rather than as noted in the programme anti clockwise. This means the hillier and longer section will be in the morning and the shorter, flatter but muddy section in the afternoon. This will allow some choices for sections of route.
Walk from Arundel via Sherwood Roughs returning via North Stoke to Bury,.
Walk starts in Mill Road outside Arundel Museum.

Information about engineering works in the Havant area was released very late and has subsequently been changed. There are no trains through Havant towards Chichester until mid afternoon and a replacement bus service should be in operation. Bus times are Fratton (Goldsmith Avenue) 0752, Havant Railway Station 0812, Chichester arrive 0843. There is a rail connection at 0852 to Barnham arriving 0901 and the Arundel train leaves at 0906 arriving at Arundel at 0915.
Subject to the engineering work being completed on time there should be through return trains to Portsmouth from Arundel at 1639 and 39 minutes past subsequent hours. If you intend to use the train you are strongly advised to check the times nearer the time in case of further changes.
Mill Road is approx 0.5 miles from the railway station
