Mike I'Anson will lead an 11 mile walk from
Brampton Way car park, Spratton Road, Brixworth.
Our walk initially takes us north on the Brampton Valley Way for two miles before turning west to join The Macmillan Way.
After passing through the village of Cottesbrooke we reach Creaton and our lunch break at The Bricklayers Arms where the landlord has kindly given us permission to eat our sandwiches.
In the afternoon we head eastwards back towards Brixworth before rejoining the Brampton Valley Way and arriving at our cars.

This is a circular walk
About the Pub
Village pub built just before the First World War and named after local brickworks which closed
down at the time.
There red brick exterior has a double-fronted bay window, with a mock Tudor first floor.
Inside the central bar serves two rooms, one which has been opened out. Recently introduced traditional pub food which is extremely good value and popular with the locals.
