Strenuous 12 miles / 19.3 km
From the Whiteleaf car park we head firstly downhill following the Ridgeway to Pulpit Hill passing Theresa's countryside retreat. We skirt Little Hampden and pick up the Chiltern Way to Hampden House. On to Lacey Green where we stop for our picnic lunch at Callows Hill for hopefully some glorious views over Bledlow Ridge and Lodge Hill. Our return trip takes us through Loosley Row, Wardrobes and Prytle Spring to meet up with the Ridgeway close to Princes Risborough and I'm afraid a steep climb back up to Whiteleaf Hill. A few inclines, woodland and wide open fields.
No dogs please.
Whiteleaf Hill car park. Postcode is not accurate. Enter the grid ref into Street map, this will show you where the car park is. Driving along Peters Lane you will see the water tower close to the junction with Kop Hill Road and the car park is clearly signed.
