A walk which explores parts of the Waddesdon Estate, home to the famous Waddesdon Manor. The Estate is owned by the world famous banking heirs the Rothschild family and situated in beautiful countryside.
We start by passing by and admiring two architectural marvels on the Estate, a beautiful conference centre atop of Windmill Hill and the spectacular Flint House nearby. The latter was a winner of the Grand Designs House of the Year Award in 2015.
We'll then walk towards the Thame Valley and the pretty villages of Nether Winchendon and Cuddington, stopping for a pub lunch at The Crown in Cuddington, a charming country pub with a thatched roof. The pub serves excellent food and after recharching our batteries we'll pass through more scenic countryside on the way back to Waddesdon.
Park in the car park for Waddesdon Manor, free parking. Meet in front of the Welcome Pavilion building on the car park.
