A springy walk on Hampstead Heath

Easy 3 miles / 4.8 km
Travel: Take the Northern Line Tube to Hampstead Underground Station Zone 2/3 (Edgware Branch). Return short bus ride to Kentish Town Underground Station (Northern Line) or walk to Hampstead Heath/Gospel Oak Overground rail stations.
This is a short (2-3 miles) linear walk on Hampstead Heath just 4 miles from central London with an optional extension to Highgate Cemetry. We will take a short coffee stop early in the walk at Kenwood House (bring brunch in case of queues). We will enjoy impressive views across London. There will be the option to walk to Highgate Cemetry at the end of the walk to visit the East part famous for Karl Marx's grave. Admission fee is £4. Correct change to be given to the walk leader please. Please note dogs are not allowed in the cemetery.
