6.5 miles of flat terrain of footpath and tarmac, and can be very muddy in places.
Route: New Malden station, alongside the Beverley Brook (or following the route of) – Wimbledon Common – Richmond Park – Palewell – Barnes Common – The Thames in Putney
Food: Café in Richmond Park, but you should also bring a picnic as it gets very busy
Drop-out points: Buses at various points, and Barnes station towards the end of the walk
Travel: 10.27 Waterloo, 10.35 Clapham Junction, 10.45 New Malden station

Finish: Putney Embankment where Beverley Brook flows into the Thames. (Nearest stations Putney Bridge on the District Line and Putney on the SWR)
