Start time: 18:00
(Estimated finish time: 19:30)
Leisurely 2 miles / 3.2 km
We will start at the Oyster Catcher pub and walk down to the shore where we'll spend some time looking amongst the fallen rocks. There are lots of fossils here (in fact I offer a100% money back guarentee you'll find something) the trick is to find a good one. We'll then walk back to the pub for drinks and a meal if you want one.
The beach is rocky and uneven so wear sensible shoes. Also a good idea to take gloves that you can wash afterwards and a bag if you want to take any of your finds home.
We'll need to leave the start point on time due to limited light, so if you are short on time you can drive to the Barrage Parking (CF64 1LQ) and meet us there (parking charge here).
